| well, neil has spoken. his request, humble. here i am... updating.
above all else, my room is clean. it's cold, it's small, it's dark... but at the very least, it is finally.
anywho, still no word on the film application at UNL. although i did receive a handwritten note from Alan Cerveny, the dean of admissions, saying he would "love to see me here at UNL this fall." - chris then told me that he, too, received one. - it makes me wonder... he must really have strong wrists. (i mean seriously, think about how many notes that would be)
wow... getting tired. will continue later.

| so i'm back!!! hey everyone out there, and those of you reading my submission through your email. it's been awhile... but i'm finally back (and posting while being on the phone with my girlfriend... cool, huh?) well life has been pretty good to me lately (i guess rebuttling my previous posts) =)
i stayed home because i felt sick today - a very good way to relax and prepare for the end of the school year. (and the end of high school, for that matter) i spent time sleeping, sleeping, and internet-ing. i must admit, facebook has become very very addicting. so addicting, in fact, that we decided to make it the next topic for the speaking out section of the pius x change. look forward to a fairly interesting story theme for this next issue, it should hit a note of interest for most all students. it's not just all about facebook, it is about the internet and abuse of the internet.
i have finished my application materials for unl's film and new media department. i am going to gather a few clippings from the pius newspaper of my graphics design work with photoshop to submit with my application. i'm getting pretty nervous about it... according to Todd Cuddy, admissions head for fine arts dept at unl, told me that they take only 15 students into the program. i hope i can hit a home run with my application and make it into it.
as for everything else... i still have a great job at west gate bank. i just got a raise, and i need it... as i am currently paying off a $2000 laptop that has now become the 2nd love of my life (second only to my girlfriend, lol). i use it for everything.
with that, i must return to my otherwise dull lifestyle and appease my girlfriend by turning off my computer. eh, not much you can do when you love someone.
